Just bought a 1994 vmax 600 today, seller said has yamaha version of a m10 ( to my knowledge yamaha never used m10s) looks similar to pics I have seen to the newer pro action skids like what the viper had but with aluminum idlers... Also other than polishing the idlers by hand is there any source that offers polished aluminum yamaha idlers.. want the factory style ones

New to Yamahas but I can swear this isn't a M-10 but a pro action skid.. if so are quick adjust transfer rods still available?

Correct me if Im wrong anybody, but that all appears like a stock proaction skid to me. Those idler wheels look correct too. Some were painted red on the "no action" skids.

That is definitely a pro action and not a m10.

Teggy, you're spot on. My 97 no action has those wheels on it, well used to at least. I think all or most of the first year out 2 no action sleds had the old wheels then.

That looks like a MM skid or something?? My pitiful sx looks so low compared to that even, that the tunnel might as well be sitting right on the ground... stupid poopy yamaha suspensions.

I was thinking its closer to the 97 Skid with the double set of wheels on the front looks different than my 96XT, but it has the 96 style 3 bolt rear shaft, where as my 97 has a single bolt rear shaft. W arm also looks like old XT Style.

sorta like the aluminum wheels, has a "stock " look to it? no as good as competitors' suspensions? last current sleds I owned were a zr and a mxz

I believe this is the first version of the proaction that they used on Vmax 4's and the old pogo chassis XT's, this would explain the old Phazer style idler wheels. If its not the stock set up that came with that sled, its probably out of a year or two newer model XT.
