bearing

I am wanting to upgrade my bearing on the front drive shaft on my 79 440 exciter. I read a lot about putting in a kimpex 60/22 DU bearing but all I can find on Flea bay is 60/22 RS > which is rubber seal on both sides . my question is will the 60/22RS work ok in there ? I'm wanting to get away from the open bearing and use a sealed one

yes those bearing will work just fine and IMHO they are better than the DU bearing as they are sealed and not open like the originals

thank you Nutz i appreciate the advice i'll go ahead and order a few spares i appreciate all the old school sledders running vintage iron and all your help !! be safe and make the snow fly > ps anyone if they got the bucks can go buy brand new but i love keeping these old sleds purring
