I am new to the yamaha sled world. I have a 85 vmax 540 with no spark. I have taken the stator out of the sled, I'm almost certain that it is the root of the problem. Could anyone tell me the proper way to test this? I am uncertain. Thanks

the pickup coil you should see 100 ohms between the white/red and the black wires
charge coil should show 245 ohms between the brown and red wires and 10 ohms red to white/red.
that should get you going in the right direction. didnt figure you needed lighting specs if your sparkless.
