Previous owner burned off the skegs and didn't stop there, got through the bottom of the actual ski. It appears that these skiis are a bit different than those of same vintage Phazer or Exciter, although all metal. They appear to have extension on rear, not sure the reason? Would be interested in replacing, I have temporarily repaired by welding a stap of metal to bottom or ski and welding rerod to that to act as a skeg. Would prefer to replace with a plastic ski, but not sure if they are available?
There is a mod posted in the tec section that shows you how to put aluminum saddle plastic yamaha skis on your TSS sled. Just did it over the summer to my enticer using a set of stock 05 sx venture skis. Steers much better now.
