Hello everyone I am new to the forum so will do my best to try explain my problem
My sled has been bogging at high rpms, it is not doing it consistently. I have cleaned the carbs a few times, checked the reeds. I changed the coils and they all run @ 4.5ohms when warm. I put my multie meter on the stator and pick up and they are within spec, the fly wheel is not rusty. I checked the wiring harness under the engine and no rub throughs, I unplugged the kill switch and ignition. I put a spark tester on it and when it bogs I can't see the light go out on the tester. I put new plugs in and I am very stumped with this one. It generally runs fine and pulls like a freight train, but about once ever 2 minutes it will bog. It usually starts the bog at about 7000 rpm or more and will keep bogging as i lower the rpms till about 4000 rpm. I can bring it back down to idle and it will run fine, then I can get back on the throttle and it will usually be fine again. Is it possible for the stator or pick up to be bad if it is within spec.
I really appreciate any help that could be given.

Have you replaced your plug caps?

I will try that next. I forgotten mention the tors is unplugged, it has 120 psi on all 3.
Clutch sticking? It sounds a lot like Tors, but if its bypassed it cant be.
Id check your secondary for slop or binding or something, sounds maybe like its not back shifting

^^Good point! I read it wrong. Thought it said the test light DID go out. Plug caps are cheap anyway.

I changed the plug caps and it still bogged. I decide to clean the carbs once again and go through all 3 with a fine tooth comb, I found a piece of dirt in one of the fuel inlets of the carbs. Put it back together and it has never ran so nice. I put on 430 bog free kms today. Thanks for the ideas guys.
