What is the Mono suspension that everyone refers to?? I want to swap out my pro action and need some advice on a better suspension. Is the SCIII better? Help me out guys!

Mono suspension is refering to the new style suspensions that were in the 05+ warrior, rx1,apex, vector, etc... that only used one shock instead of 2. Very good plush riding suspension but they are a bit pricey compared to the rest. The sc2-3-4 as well as the polaris edge suspensions are plentifull, cheap, easy to install, and there are multiple shock options for each to cope with your riding style. I have an edge xcsp skid in my sx and love it!

I put a mono in my Viper this season. It's true they tend to cost more, especially if you add a "beef up" or similar kit to reinforce the arms. However, now I only have one shock to rebuild and it has a damping adjuster on it. It's also easier to adjust IMO and it's 10+ pounds lighter than the Pro-Action skid (which makes a big difference for me as I have no reverse).
Based on my limited tinkering with a Pioneer revalved monoshock, it's nearly impossible to mess up the mono's settings (all rides so far have been good rides). I also installed a BOSS seat at the same time though, so I can't say for sure if the skid is awesome or if the seat covers up its imperfections.
If I had to do it again I'd probably install a BOSS seat and then rebuild / revalve the stock skid shocks and do the BTV skid fix. I did that to a Vmax skid this year, and it rides decent now (my friends with long travel Cat skids complain more about bumps than I do).

I installed a Polaris IQ in my Viper and I like it quite well. It rides really nice and it was fairly easy to instal. I should've had the shocks serviced, I think the are just getting weak, but it's still a big improvement over the pro action. It should really ride awesome with the shocks rebuilt for next year. The other thing is the IQ skid really transfers weight good and it hooks up. I don't regret it, my Viper feels like a new machine. I had a 02 MXZ 700 years ago with the SC III and that was a really nice riding skid. You can't go wrong with any of them.
