I have a 2000 sxr 700, 49xx miles. Sled died 2 years ago. got to put a stator in last year and could never get it running right. the clutch side cylinder will not fire! Got back to it this year and its the same thing. Carbs have been pulled and cleaned several times by me and then by a shop. same thing cylinder will not fire. I have spark in all three plugs and even tried switching a coil. i thought that maybe under load/compressing it wasn't sparking. but its the same thing the cylinder just wont fire. every time i pull the plug out its soaking wet so i know it has gas. if you try driving the sled with two cylinders it wont stay running unless the choke is on. im pulling my hair out on what to do next. Reeds? bad compression? any ideas?
