my little phazer project seems to be having carb problems,i need to pull the choke on the left carb to get it off idle, then it goes pretty good,it also has a psi pipe on it ,im not familiar with these but cleaned a bunch of crap out of em once, when i spray cleaner threw the pilots it comes out the top of the carbs, main jets are good, plugs in middle and over pilots, there are 3 passages in the front of the carbs, should they be clear too?i sprayed either all over and it only slightly raises idle if i spray it on the airbox side of carbs, does that airbox even come out of there?lol what fun

what is your jetting should have a 105 to 110 pilot and at least a 147.5 main jet and the air screws at 1.5 turns

im not sure, the main jet and on top of it was so rusty crusty i couldnt read em,the pilots were pure green and i tried to scrape them to read them but it was impossible, going to order some new jets based off that info(thanks a ton) ran it for half a day and it runs fine once it gets moving, clutch springs are also rusted and unrecognizable, this is my buddies first sled and hes happy with it so far, gotta order a new cup for the pipe as my weld job and copper silicone wore out so we saved it for another day,

There is a very small jet in one of the front passages and all the jets and passages in the carb should be cleaned. Take it completely apart and use number drills ( by hand only) or torch tip cleaners if you have them, otherwise try to find wires that fit in the holes as tight as you can and run them back and forth.
It may be only caused by the idle mixture adjustment. Run the sled at idle speed (on the decal on the belt gaurd) and adjust the idle mixture screws on top of the carb evenly for the best idle. Check the take-off of the sled - if it hesitates open the screws one eighth of a turn at a time (and adjust the idle speed as required) until it accelerates smoothly when you stab the throttle.

ok thanks, ill take em off again and do a better job, especially on those front passages, once it gets going its surprisingly quick, when i found it i should have bought it myself but he will get way more use out it,clutches will be the next thing after i get these carbs working.this is exactly the same as my old sled i should have never sold so its neat to get to ride one again
