I have read several threads on this topic, but haven't seen the basic conclusion on what is the most simple ski swap for the pogo sleds? Is there a factory plastic ski with a 3 1/2" saddle? I was trying to swap 97 xtc skis onto the 95 but I am having trouble just getting the collar out if the pogo? It won't budge! So I was wondering if there was a direct bolt on ski with a 3 1/2" saddle? I am not opposed to doing the wrench work, but this machine has not been cooperating with me lately! Thanks for your help!

Good luck those collars have been stuck on every TSS sled I have worked on. we actually had to drill the collar out mine on the XT when I swapped to my Ski-doo ski's.

I might just Sawzall it off and buy new collars, just seems like a lot if work to switch skis. I am missing the loop on my left ski, that is the only reason I want to switch... So if anyone has a ski for a 95 500le let me know.
Thanks...
Also if anyone can shed some info on how to get the collar out that would be appreciated.

Wish I still had my old set I sent them out the door with the old sled, or I would give them to ya.

Can you get the bottom knuckle off the shock?

Its been a while but I believe there is a set screw in there you take out after loosening it and it usually will come off there.
Then you can put it up on a bench and lube her up really good and see if you can press it out, if that doesn't work you will have to drill it out (much easier said then done).

Then you can slide in a new one coated in anti-seize.

While you at it make sure none of the pieces are split the scissors tent to break open near the collars.

I had to air hammer them out on my et410 when I put viper skis on it this summer. used a set from a viper and got some apex mtx collars cut down to fit. working great so far.
