rear skid info

any one know the center to center measurement of an 02 rear skid front shock eyelet to eyelet with spring removed?also are the 98 srx rear skid shocks the same?thanks-Harvey

The shock will work, but has different valving and different spring.

do you know if the eyelet center to centers are supposed to be the same,if they are then I know my shock is broke as it is 1 to 1-1/2 inches shorter than the 98 shock.mine also takes twice as much pressure to push in than the 98.-Thanks-Harvey

I don't have eyelet center to center just spring installed lengths and gas pressures. Spring is installed 7mm longer on the newer one and gas pressures are the same.

Harvey you can down load owner manuals from yamahas site not sure if that will help.
