i currently have heel clickers in my 01 srx, and i was just wondering if any one has a set-up that gives more top end using the 8BU weights? Currently i top out at about 170-180 km/h with the clickers, the fastest i can get it.
sled is stock except: 47/39 advant-edge helix & green secondary spring

what do you have for gearing?
I'm running 23/40 for gearing, stock track w/ 192 studs. i know that getting a camoplast track will loose weight and add a bit on top end but i don't really want to spen over $600 cdn. on one.

If you want more top end you deffinately have to bring that bottom gear back down. I would run either a 38T or 37T bottom gear. When i run 500ft drags i am geared at 19/40. Thats what i would do.
8BU's and top end
You should e-mail Turk on this question. I think you will find that 8BU's are great for hard acceleration in a short run but are not popular for their top end speed.
