Tach, Headlight and Tail light flickering - 98 SRX 700

I am having some electrical issues with my 98 SRX 700.
The tachometer, headlight and tail light are all flickering at the same time.
Last year, they flickered only once or twice during the entire season, but this year it is constant and making me crazy.
All other electrical systems work fine, heated grips, speedometer lights, engine components etc.

I have checked and cleaned the main chassis ground without any change.
What wire am I looking for to look for a short or rub through?
Any suggestions are welcome.

You'll have to pull the harness out from under the motor, those are typical "rub thru" symptoms. If that wiring is good, check around steering post, handle bars, and by the hood hinges for broken wires. Good luck
