Hi everyone,
I know this is a question that will have many different answers, but what is the ideal 2 stroke oil to use in my new to me 94 VMAX 600? The sled has 1,900 miles on it at this point and I have no idea what oil has been used in the sled for the past 20 years.
In my 2000 SRX I use Amsoil Dominator and in my 1991 Phazer I use Yamalube. The shop that did the service on the sled sells and recommends Spectro Syn-Sno. Any reviews or knowledge of Syn-Sno?
Any other ideas for oil?
Thank you,
Zack

i use castrol, but really any decent 2 cycle injector oil should be ok. i'm not brand crazy.
unless running in extreme cold, i don't feel the need for synthetic, although i do run in -30 w/o synthetic

Any good snowmobile specific injection oil will suffice easily. As stated Castrol, Shell and others such as Canadian tires Formula 1. I have used all of them in my sleds and you don't need a synthetic either especially at there prices.

any good quality 2 stoke injection oil should be fine. have burned all kinds of oils and the better smell of some of the synthetics is pretty much the only difference.
