This a good suspension fellas? How hard would it be to put in? Going from my proaction 121 to this XTX 144.

I did it, the main issue is that the front mount wants to land right on the steering gate. I moved mine right behind it, but the 144 was always tight even with adjusters backed all the way off. I ended up switching to a 146x16 Challenger Lite and 7 tooth x 2.86 pitch extros. It really is a good skid for the Viper, but kinda over matches the trailing arm front end. I'll look for some pics later. I am glad I did it as it works very well off trail. I did make my own drop brackets. The basic process I used was to compare the way the sled sat with the 144 mountain skid in it and then try to match it with the XTX skid. I have multiple mount points in the drop brackets, so I can adjust the rear up and down. Dropping the skid further out of the sled really works off-trail but becomes a handful on the trail. I run Yamaha Mtn Skis on the skinniest setting with 121 radius rods. With the 6" seat rise (Boss 1st gen flattop) you really have to lean to ride the trails very fast. It would be a dirt bike feel if I switched to Mtn radius rods and steering.

Ding, do you have any pictures of how that skid sits in your sled? I rode a nytro xtx this year a few times and really like how that skid works and would like to put it in my srx over the summer. Just having trouble finding one right now.
