In need of a richer jet needle for a 97 vmax 600. With the work done to it the stock needles are raised on the last clip location. I cannot find any info from mikuni and yamaha only lists the stock 8dfy8-57. Im tring to get richer in the mid range but would like some adjustability.
Needles are only part of the equasion. You may want to use larger needle jets as the larger diameter will help you with adjustability of fuel in the mid range like you wish.
Thanks for the info. i will try the larger needle jet Q-8. There has to be more than just the one needle availble though.
There are other needles available. You would need to get a breakdown book from someone who deals with Mikuni to find out the different needles.
