A friend of mine purchased an 02 Viper a few years ago from it's original owner with very low mileage. He was told that it had the Hyper Viper kit installed when it was brand new. I have an 01 SRX that is clutched and piped, and I'd estimate that this Viper has 30-40 more HP than my sled. Since the work had been done on the Viper long ago, the current owner doesn't know what modifications were done, other than saying it has the "Hyper Viper kit". I believe the work was done by the dealer before the original owner initially brought it home, who then only put a few hundred miles on it before putting it into long-term storage. Has anyone heard of such a kit, and if so, what exactly does it consist of?
