02 sxv Warning light flashing full gas tank

hello riders. i recently had a small accident on my viper... ahem... roled it twice... and when i recovered it to ride into the sunset the warning light was flashing about once every other second for bout a second. sometimes it goes away for a short time of the ride then comes back on. nothing looks broken and it rides the same as before. there is gas in the tank.
 
The red warning light will come on, but what icon in the digital area shown up? the gas icon? The red light will tell you something is wrong, but the digital icon will be more specific...
 
If it is a repeating pattern it is likely an error code. If it is random flashes, then you likely have a wiring issue. Are there any icons that show up on the display along with the warning light flashes?

If it is the gas icon, the float may have gotten hung up on the pickup line.

also before during and after the rolll it randomly gets a really bad.... bog? cut out? idk it goes to a really low pitch sound and will not rev higher but if i hold the throttle itll maintain rpms as long as its under no load. so for example im riding and im at 7000 rpm and it goes WOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooaaaaaaaaa instead of WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH and it slows way down and i let off the throttle it drops to 700 rpm unless i hit the throttle again( it will maintain rpms wherever i hit the throttle and will stay there indefinetly put produce no gains and 0 power) untill i bottoms out below idle rpm. when it gets to this low rpm i can hit the throttle and be on my merry way hitting max power/rpm like nothing ever happened. is it a dead/dying cylinder? spark plugs maybe? or another worse prblem?
 
Your cut out/low pitch sound/will not rev situation sounds like TORS (Throttle OverRide System) is kicking in. It is a safety measure put in place to help prevent run-away sleds after accidents and such. The most common reason that TORS activates on an otherwise good running sled is too tight of a throttle cable. Check and adjust so that there is adequate slack in the cable, and your cut out may go away.
 
Two wires coming from the switch under the idle adjustment screw (not the TPS wires). Disconnect the bullet connectors from these two wires and plug the harness-side wires into each other, and the carb-side wires into each other. The connectors can only go one way if not connected normally, because they are male/female.
 
ok i did that and no change. and also took it for a short rip the other day and it didnt bog down but like i said it was a really short trip but the engine symbol started flashin where it did not before

So the bog went away? If yes and you still have the wires in test mode I think the bog is tors related. To tight of a throttle cable.
