helix degrees

I have a 1997 sx 151" with 2" paddles... I guy told me I need a 45 dgree helix.
How do I tell what the degree helix is thats on it now
numbers on it are 8BV-50

Just did a yahoo search on those #'s and it says it is a 45* helix.
