Does anyone know of a source for 1996 VMax 600 XT after market shocks? Seems DK, shade tree, EBay, etc. don't have them.
Also looking for a good primary clutch for this sled, though many year Yamaha sleds have those, I just haven't found one for less than arm/leg pricing.
I would post a request in the classifieds, but I keep getting a 404 error there...

I have had Chris at Schmidtbros motor sports rebuild my front shocks on my V Max 600 and V max 4's. I also use a V max 4 primary (with 600 weights/rollers) in my V max 600.

Are you sure the Struts need replaced ?
T.S.S. Maintenance
On most every used T.S.S. sled I've bought the Knuckles and steel bushing are frozen and completely locked up and pivoting on the bolts ! I've bought sleds that the locked up joints won't even allow the springs to return let, alone the struts to work when hitting a bump. The T.S.S sleds have always gotten a bad rap for slop developing when the ungreased steel bushing's freeze up they grind away on the nylon washers ! I have sleds that are 15+ years old that have never had a bushing kit and are almost as tight as new. Just take the knuckles and the ski mounts apart every other year and grease !

It's the rear skid shock giving me troubles, not sure about the front one. The TSS suspension is working great! I love it!!! Just frustrated that no after market shocks are still available for the first year pro-action.

Dimebag Darrell RIP
Are those rear shocks un-damaged, if so they can be rebuilt.

I have had the rear XT shocks rebuilt by several shops. In the future I will only use Bruce at Pioneer Perforance. He was great to deal w/ and did the best work.
