Seems I am getting more questions than answers for this sled. Anyways, the rear hand warmers on my 02 Venture 700 aren't working. I've read all over the web that they don't work unless the RPMs are above 3,500 or something like that. Now I don't have an ohmmeter but I do have a simple little light test that lights up when it gets power. I touched it to the connector going to the switch and had the RPMs around 3,500-4,000 as so the clutch wouldn't engage, and the light never turned on, making me believe it is a problem either under the seat or forward of the seat, say a fuse or relay or something. So my question is, if anyone else has had this problem or something similar, where should I start? Tomorrow I am going to be taking off the seat just to poke around the connections to see if it is even getting power back there at all. I may just be doing it all wrong and should probably invest in an ohmmeter to see if the warmers themselves are even working lol. Thanks

Edit: Might I add that when I tested the connection for the driver's thumb warmer, the light on the tester only blinked, did not stay solid on like the driver's hand warmers do.
I don't know if that has anything to do with this but just pointing that out.

Okay, this weekend I tore the sled apart and narrowed it down to a faulty relay behind the plastic shroud above the right foot toe kick area. On Yamaha parts website I couldn't find just the relay part number #, only the whole assembly (5DM-81950-00-00). Does anyone know just the relay part number?? Thanks.
