What should the max rpm be on a 1999 700 triple red head

Where should the rpm be on a 99 700 red head from a standing start thru acceleration to top speed?

Max power on the stock red head is around 8400

8200 plus or minus 100 rpm.

Mine always ran about 9000 rpm with the clutching I had and other few small mods. I never had a problem with it at that rpm but the power really was a bit above 8000rpm

Thanks. So max hp is achieved around 8200 rpm and that's where I want the clutch to hold the rpm at wot on acceleration. What is the redline?

Clutch it to not get over 8400ish, after that you lose power/speed and are just creating more wear and tear on your engine
