Hello 2 stroke people of the snow!
i should start by apologizing; I really haven't been here much lately, there has just not been enough time in the days. I will try and be better though.
So, questions: First one, my temp and oil lights are either both on, or taking turns being on, or sometimes both being off. Now I'm fairly sure the previous owner took care of the under engine wiring issue, so I'm wondering if anyone has run into this and found it to be a different problem?
Next question; I've always bought Yamaha belts because they were the best. Is this still true, or is there a better aftermarket one out there now?
Thanks for the help, with some luck I'll get 100 miles on the SRX this year, but, I will never sell it!

Good to see you back!

IMO...Yamaha belts are still the best.

It would not be unlikely that you have a wiring issue, it seems a lot of the SRXs and Vipers are starting to show up with wiring issues because of their age.

I would check under the handle bar pad. I you have an accessory jack for heated shield ect check it.

I had a headlight wiring harness issue earlier this year that gave me all kinds of grief!
