hello yami lovers .ineed some idea of what my 04 black viper is worth . 6600 miles .mr viper did ring job replaced reed valves clutch work .has 136 m10 .newer track 2000 miles ago.with that new bearings.replaced bearings in full skid 2 inch bar riser.mirror wind deflectors .anodized handle bar ends. tank bag.brand new battery.rebuilt front shocks..havent been able too ride it till yesterday.since the motor work was done..this sled runs awsome .better than it ever ran before..I hate to give it away .so i need a basic number to start with..thanks for some info....
Here in mid-Michigan you would be doing very well to get $2500. You might have to settle for less like maybe $2200. However, prices change significantly by area, so you need to check your area. Check Craigslist to see what is listed in your area. You can also check closed Ebay auctions to see what sleds like yours went for. Also, it all depends on if you find someone who really wants what you have. If you can do that, you can likely get more. One thing that helps is being willing to deliver within a reasonable distance or meet halfway for longer distances. Meeting halfway is sometimes better because the prospective buyer has to be serious enough to make the trip. The extras might add value to someone who wants them. I think KBB list that sled around $2700 in excellent condition.
A fair price would be around 2,200 in the spring. Maybe next fall you could get 2,500 I paid 1,700 for a 2002 4 years ago, with under 1,500 miles.

Smoking deals will be hitting Craigslist as spring approaches. An educated buyer will by a good sled for a good price versus a beat down non maintained one on the cheap. Good luck finding an educated buyer.

Bring it to Ontario. Since we actually have some snow this year in southern Ontario, I've noticed prices have gone way up. People are asking for $3,500.00 for 02 Vipers. 04's are going for $4,000.00.

From what I hear there is more than a few hoops a Canada resident has to jump threw to import a sled. Unsure what the rules and regs would be for a sled to be sold during a "sledding trip to Canada"
