Ok John, I knew what you meant. I am running the sno force visor, red is hooked into blue (tail light) black I grounded to hand warmer ground. As soon as you plug visor into connection lights go dim and guage quits working. If i wiggle the cord (visor cord) at connection everything works but very dim. Sound like a bad cord? Or is my ground not good enough?

I have mine hooked to the High beam switch with a wire tap. It works like like a champ.

I connected mine in the same place, red from shield to light blue wire, tail light. I connected my ground at the handle bar block where it bolts to the steering shaft (4 bolts). I've done several this way and not had a problem with any. Usually a dim light means a bad ground somewhere.

i use the tail light as well, find a good ground and i think u will be fine.
