Hi everyone,
I trailed my 1994 VMAX 600 DX home yesterday to prepare it for summer storage, as it will not be ridden any more this season. The sled has a grand total of 6 miles on it this season, it sit most of the year. I just went to move it and I pulled up, and pushed down on the rear grab handle and it seemed that I had absolutely no suspension movement at all. I assume that the rear suspension should move at least a little, right? Any ideas as to what might be causing this lack of movement?

Thank,
Zack

There's not much movement in the rear suspension but your pivet arms in the rear bracket might be rusted solid which will then stop any movement. The 94 Vmax suspension did not have many zerk fittings so the rear suspension needs to be pulled apart, cleaned and re-greased every few years (depending on storage, ect). I have seen many that need to be replaced and can't be pulled apart and re-greased because the are rusted solid.
