Vinyl repair

How do i repair the seat on my machine? it's cracking just forward of the 'backrest' down by the tunnel. I need vinyl repair tape or a kit, but only 12 inches or so. Any ideas?

They make a clear tape. people use it on boats seats. Might help hold it together for a while more. Then you have the all famous duck tape or colored duck tape. But really you would probably be best off buying a used seat in good condition or having yours recovered.

When I bought my XLT, one of the seams was splitting. I repaired it with automotive Goop from Walmart. Cleaned the area, masked it off and then smoothed the goop with a bondo spreader. This is 7 years later and it's still holding and it's right where you sit.
