My buddy sucked the steel plate off his reed cage into the engine last week, and needless to say I had to take it all the way down to get all of the steel out of there. Is there an easy way of getting the crank back in? I am having issues getting all of those alignment pins in the right spot to get the crank to sit down properly.

Nevermind... I walked away from it for a half hour, came back and it was quite obvious. I was installing the crank into the bottom half first, should have started from the top half of the case...

I had the exact same issue when I did my first one, and the exact same solution... back away, go have a beer, come back.... OMG Its obvious!!
