Looking to put a cobra track on my 2002 viper. Has a 1.25 ripsaw on it and i need a little more of trail track. The ripsaw is good for hard pack and is a trenching fool will it fit

I just put on a 1.75 back country on my viper. To go bigger then 1.25 you will have to cut out the cooler protection. Then you can fit up to 1.5. To fit the 1.75 I got an axle with a set of 8 tooth anti rachet drivers off of a mountain viper that a guy parted out.

Love the way my sled handles everything now!

they only make the cobra in 1.385 in a 121 2.52, the 1.6 is a 2.86pitch X 120

I would give the freeride a try that is a 14X 121X 1.5 very good track for on and off trail use
or try the back country 1.75 track you'll just have to drill out the tunnel and front heat exchanger protectors no need for 8 tooth drivers

There's no way the back country would fit with out rubbing using 9 tooth. Tried it. That's why I got 8 tooth.

I had a 1.358" Cobra on my 2002 stocker. Loved it, really hooked up hard and I ran SLP Powder Pro skis with a Heavy Hitter clutch kit. It was the ticket. Sold the machine this past December with over 9,000 miles. I probably put close to 3,000 on the Cobra. I also had a Predator 1.25 on it for it's first 6,000 miles. Another great track. Tried an Ice Ripper 1.25 for about 6-800 miles and hated it.

journeyman man did you have to cut parts out ? tunnel protectors or anything
