There's a couple of places that a set of these are helpful, like Tony says at the bend of the rails in front and the spot between the wheels that are ahead of the rear axle and the next set on the outside of the rails. This spot seems to be where the sliders wear because this is where the riders weight is focused. As far as where to put the set at the bend of the rails just have a look and see where the most pressure on the sliders are and put your wheels there.

just looks where the hyfax wears faster on the bend of the rails andI also moved my front idlers ahead a little as well.My hyfax is so uniform from one end to the other.I can easily run a set of hyfax a good 3 seasons with no problems.Of course I also run ice scratchers on both sleds which is helping as well.

I'l have to take a look at my old slides to see where the most wear is. Thanks

One thing I'd recommend though too is to keep an eye on the bolts because I had a set on my 98 once and one side either came loose or broke off because it was gone,so use loctite when you put them on.

The place I noticed the most wear on my old slides was from the middle of the rails on up, I'll probably just end up putting them in front of the two front idler wheels.
