Hi, i have a 2000 mm 700, at at idle the sled doesnt seem to fire on all 3 cylinders correctly, middle cylinder and mag side cylinder will heat up upon starting but pto side stays cooler, sled runs great anything over 1/4 throttle, compression and spark seem to be okay, had carbs off cleaned out pilot jets etc,, .could i have a slightly scored piston, or air leak on engine, are the stators known to have issues? Thanks for any info

You can put a multimeter on the stator and pickup to see if it is within spec. I would double check the carbs it sounds like a fuel issue. You can try to put a spark plug tester in and see if it stops sparking on that plug at any point.

Remove the plug cap from the wire and check resistance. Should be 5K ohms.
