Carrying extra gas

You can get a gas tank that goes over the belt cover. I don't remember the name of it or the capacity though.

I saw those, too $$$ to justify for one U.P. trip a year. I don't like how they require moving the PV motor.

Time to carry a back pack with a gas can in it. Not much room on these vipers, unless you extend the tunnel solely for the purpose of a place to put some stuff.

Where abouts in the UP are you riding? Most areas Ive ridden, you shouldnt have a problem making it to gas stations, just plan ahead. Unless you plan to do a lot off trail riding? In that case, you might trailer to a staging area and bring a few 5gal cans in the tow vehicle.
