How hard is it to replace the rubber shoes in the primary and what kind of tools are needed? I have never had one apart that far. Looks like the inner sheave screws off. The shoes on it now has a lot of side to side movement. Also scoring the walls. I am very confident I can do the work just need to know how. Any pics would help. Thanks guys.

to get the inner sheave to screw off, you need a grunt tool. this tool breaks spider free and will unthreaded for ya. this is tuffer than ya think those spiders are loctited. 3:16 (yammie tony)
Regular thread or backwards?

reverse or backwards. 3;16 (yammie tony)
Sounds like a good summer time project. I've been noticing that my RPMs are not the same as earlier in the year. And there is a funny noise coming from the primary.

Yeah I will be going through the whole thing. I don't need any issues for next year.
