Looking for suggestions on what track to buy for my viper 780. It will probably be rode. 70% trail. 30% river/lake racing. Would like to keep it at 1 inch. And also will be studding down the middle. Prob. A 120 pattern.

Check out the Hacksaw too. Picked one up for my Viper for just a little over 3 bills.

We're did u find yours for that good of a deal. The hacksaw is what I was looking at. Just didn't know if there were other good options for tracks out there

ebay. Heard alot of good things about the Ultimate Traxtion on here but for the money I paid I have no complaints at all. Fully clipped, not pre-drilled for studs (studded it myself with 96 1.075" mega bites. Night and day difference on my Viper. Very quiet track too. I ride mostly groomed trails very little off trail. Deeper snow it's certainly no worse than the stock track for sure.

I have the UT I'm my srx (was in my Viper before) while it's a great trail track it scrubbed some top end off compared to the predator I ran before. Not sure if it's from weight, stiffness, aggressive design or what but just wanted to point it out since you mentioned lake racing.

Camoplast - Click on the link below. Then click the link to download the catalog. The catalog shows other import data most important if racing is track weight. Obviously lightweight tracks accelerate faster. Also shows full selection fully clipped vs clipped every third.

I have the Hacksaw 1 inch predrilled 144 with gold diggers, full clipped . Had the mega bites but golds seem better on ice. Been running it for 4 yrs now. Awesome hookup and no tears or rips. I never tried it with the stock suspension, running expert x. Great for trail and lake runs. Better than stock track!

what he said, love my Ultimate Traxtion 1 inch track.Very tough and durable, still looks like new after 3 years.

Am running a 1.25 ripsaw fully clipped with extrovert drivers...I may be losing some top end but it hooks up great with transfer rods! And no worries about skipping on the drivers

I got an ultimate traxtion have had it for 2 years and its been a great track hooks up great, way better than my stock one and def a improvement off trail. Its been a great durable track. I got mine from Al's snowmobile salvage and believe I paid $475 with shipping.

my Ultimate Traxtion 1 incher was installed in summer of 2010.This season it still looks like I just installed it,nothing damaged or torn..they are very very durable tracks, best track I ever put on the SRX.My SRX will eat camoplast tracks for lunch, not durable enough for a snow racer xtreme sled..lol
