Hey guys-
While putting my suspension back together I noticed that the bearings in the middle idler wheels (next to my hand in the pic below) are sticky and the rubber on the idler wheels is in rough shape. Yamaha wants $100 for the pair of each....are there any other good options other than OEM?
Thanks!

You can get the bearings at Fastenal or any bearing house. The last idler bearings I bought were $2.90 for a 6004. If you dont have any chunks out of the rubber on your wheels they are still safe to run. Post some pics of your wheels. I have good used wheels that I would sell/ship to you for much less than what yamaha charges. lol

You can also use aftermarket wheels. Lots of companies make them. Kimpex is a popular choice. Any of the site advertisers or sponsors can get them for you if you cannot find them locally.
Thanks guys here is what the wheels look like. @TJ35 please post a pic of your wheels and what you need for them!

Yep, looks like you need some new wheels. You have a PM

If you can, get the plastic wheels. Seems like the rubber sticks to the plastic wheel better than the aluminum.

yes but the bearings seem to last longer in the aluminim ones.
