SRX primary springs won't work in a SX primary clutch right???

They will, just not right, not enough room for the spring to fully compress. Find a tall clutch cover and you will solve this problem. I believe the part prefix is 8df. They come on srx'es for sure.

Will the covers just interchange with each other?
Just get a SRX cover & put on my SX & start using SRX springs?

worked for me, on all my vmax-4's. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be an issue. Just bolt it on and hammer down.

Just make sure you line up the X's when you bolt the other cover back on.

Pioneer Performance told me today that 97 - current can use the same primary springs...

If you try tall cover springs with a short cover you will have problems.

My best advice then would be to try it. You won't wreck anything and then you'll have your answer. Maybe you already have a tall cover, if so you'll be fine. What year SX is it? Are there any identifying marks on the cover?

I did this very same thing with a friend of mines sled after he called me to ask if I had a spare spring to replace the broken orange Bender one in his sled so I gave him one with roughly the same numbers as his broken one.He has a V Max deluxe 700 and all my spares are for my SRX's so I was thinking that the V Max had the same tall cover but it doesn't and when he put it in it engaged at like 56-5700.
