Hi.
I got problem with a Venture -92. No spark and i have change the plugs.
I have tried to measure the ohm value and then compare it to the Venture original service manual
but i don't get any out of it, the ohm values and colors of the cables is no match.

The problem is that when i check yamahamotorsport.com/spare parts, the stator there is not the one i got.
When i check Venture XL -93 on yamahamotor then i find the right one.
Problem is that i can not find any values for -93 venture, only for -92.

So what i want to know is if anyone got the right values for the Pulse box and the Stator of Venture -93
it should look like the one on the right picture.

Picture 2 (right)

The one i got is the one to the right, Picture 2.
Picture 1 i got all values for from service manual.
They have not the same spare part no.

Part no from yamahamotorsport.com
88F-85510-00-00 (year -92 Venture GT)
88T-85510-01-00 (Year -93 Venture XL)

Sorry for my bad english, hope you understand what i write.

the 91-92 ventures ran a different ignition than the 93 and up models. could be as simple as you mis-dating your sled. whats the first three numbers on the vin code stamped on your tunnel?

the ohm values for the 93 and up ignitions, depending on model, should be something like brown to black=556 ohms and white/red to black= 14 ohms.

there can be other contributing factors to your no spark. i have found most often its the tors switch on the carb. consider also the kill switch, the tether switch if equipped, along with a bad key switch.
