How do you get better grip when standing? Is there some aftermaket insert you can rivet to the running board or something? I really need more grip when I stand up to ride the bumps. Buddy has a T-Cat with some aftermarket inserts... can you get them for other sleds? He doesn't remember where he got them (sled is a 98 with over 13,000 miles on it!). Any help would be appreciated.

I've never tried them but heard LOTS of good stuff about ROX treads. They stiffen your running boards and look real cool also.

Rox do look awesome and I'm sure they work extremely well. But for $180.00, they should. We use Fett Bros. Surefoot III's at $49.00. They provide excellent traction up and down the entire running board and have yet to tear any clothing or boots.

Go with the rox treads

i got mine from rich motorsports. they are awesome, well worth the money... i have never had such good grip on any sled... i know any sled i buy will have these installed, unless yami unleashes the beast for 06... a rs with 135 hsp+ with higher handlebars, ditch bangin set up, sno cross style... maybe rider forward.... there i go dreamin again...

Me and my buddies ride in the mounatains all the time and we all have the same grips called SNO-SLIPS, we buy them from yamaha and love them. They rivet to the outside of the running boards and work awesome. i have tried ones you stick into the running boards, but find they cause the boards to ice up bad.
