What thickness of plywood is required to replace the seat wood on a 91 phazer 2. Searched but no luck. Mine is so degraded it looks like 1/4" but that seems too thin.
Thanks

1/4" marine grade plywood is apparently very hard to find. Anyone used a sealant or maybe like bed liner spray to weather proof the wood ?

i use whatever type of 1/4 underlay the hardware store has in. if you figure the seat lasted until now with the original plywood, why bother trying to get p/t plywood?
A couple of bucks

1/4" marine grade plywood is available at the contractor's counter at Menards if you are near one. I use clear engine enamel on the wood. I put on several coats until there isnt much wood grain texture showing. Then I use duplicolor bed liner on the side that contacts the foam. I use engine enamel because it is resistant to gas and oil. I dont use bedliner on the bottom because I would believe over time from spilling a drop or two while fueling would eventually make a black sludgy mess that could ooze down the tunnel.
