I have a 75 gpx 338G and am trying to pull the original primary clutch off. Does anyone know if the water trick will work on it? If not I am trying to find the proper puller for it. Purchased pullers 12-164-10 and a 12-164-14. 12-1640-10 is about 1/4 in too long. Any ideas would be much appreciated. 12-64-14 was said to be the correct one and it is not as the shaft is too large in diameter.

oil would work as well I gather but grease may do the trick better.I had a stubborn clutch to remove on an old 76 Pantera. Tried impact as well and no go..So I decided to heat up the clutch in the middle with a propane torch and then took an ice gel pack from the freezer and placed it on the clutch right after and then it popped of easily with the impact.

clutch removal gpx338G
Well we used a 12-164-10 puller on the comet duster 94c but had to cut about 1/4 inch off the end but it worked no problem. Thanks for all who replied.
