I finnaly got my engine back together after a rering. I don't have carbs, PV, ect.... on yet. In fact I don't see this being ready to fire up for the near future. Is it OK to just let sit? I'm thinking along the lines of seating the gaskets and breaking in rings. I did fill it with coolant also and am starting to rethink that till the rings have been seated. Any thoughts guys?

Personally, I'd put rags in all the openings, dump/spray some oil down the cylinders and into the base. I wouldn't start it until winter or fall when you can put it through some heat cycles, under a load, not on the stand.

X2 on coating it in oil and sealing it up as well as you can.
