I am really looking at replacing the track on my 98 SRX in the fall and among my choices is the Ripsaw II,I really think the design and style would work well for the kind of snow we get here in my part of NB as well as the kind of riding I do.But I also have the Carve on my 01 and am quite impressed with it as far as traction goes too.I am going to stay with the 1" lug height because I use studs and I don't want to have to change to smaller drivers to go with a taller lug.
I guess my decision really will depend on whether both these tracks comes in 121x15x1" and I know that the Carve does but am not sure about the Ripsaw II.

Yes, I have one on my 2014 Viper... great track... I also have the pre molded stud versions on my Apexs... awesome!!

Ripsaw II comes in a variety of lengths, and i'm 99.99% sure they are only 1.25 lugh tracks. Check tracksusa.com
Correct only 1.25 lengths. 1" length would be a hacksaw.

Ok I was thinking I read somewhere that the Ripsaw II was available in a 1" lug as well as the 1.25".I guess I'll keep an eye out for another Carve. Thanks guys.

The Ripsaw II is available in a 1" but it looks like only in a 2.86" pitch (Skidoo).
