Sled is a rebuilt from frame up 1985 phazer, bought rail/tunnel extensions and relocated skid back 2.5" to bring it from a 116" to a 136"
Everything drives fine, nice and smooth no ratcheting, but the suspension is either VERY stiff or binding (hard to tell)

I double checked location of the new suspension mounting holes using a jig made from the original holes, the skid has all new springs and shocks. Im 175lbs and when I bounce on it I get about 1-2" of movement and then it seems to stop? Im not sure if its binding, or if everything is very stiff from the new parts. It hasnt been driven more than 2kms since rebuild and Im not sure what else to check? All bushings and shafts were greased prior to installation, every bearing is new.

Im the heaviest person at my house, so havent tried with anyone else (it doesnt appear to even move with my wife on it)
Ill try tonight with a bag of concrete on the seat and see if it makes any difference. If its binding I have no idea where it would be, Im not even sure where to start, apart from pulling the whole skid back apart which I really dont want to do haha!

I could come for a look if you are near Sudbury. might just be the shock is seized but that is hard to ell.

Tip the sled on each side and loosen the spring perch screws enough to unhook the rear springs. Rotate the spring end around to the front and then put it back on the track and see if it sinks all the way.
