May have posted in the wrong place...sorry if I did. I was just wondering if it still be possible to find a 1976 to1979, or maybe a 1980 SRX 440. Knowing that most 77's are in peoples garage, would there still be some 78's and 79's out there? What about a 76? I live in Bathurst NB Canada and have found an old 80 modle with crank problems, but what are the chances of finding parts or even a complete motor for that. Let me know as I just want one like a 78 with that white cab and red stripes to take me back to childhood.

It has been a few years back a guy was selling one and had another for spare parts.I blew it by not talking to him.Since then I have not seen anything for sale.I had an 80 SRX 440,but would like to find a 78 if possible.My buddy had one and none of us could touch that sled.It was friggin fast.It beat all our Yami sleds,Ski doo 5000 and 9500,Polaris triple..He used to race guys for money on the River out here.

oh they are out there. You just have to be patient and constantly looking.

Getting parts locally seams to be not alot of fun. Ebay and vintage sled has helped us find the parts to get our engine back togther. Our 80 srx 440 is in awsome shape but we are always on the hunt for spare parts. These sleds are becoming hard to find and big $$ if you have one.
