A friend calls me and says he want to trade me a 98 srx 600 in ok condition for a 89 polaris 488 fan . So I found one within 2 days to trade him. Went to check out the srx and it has a blue skid plate Ohlins shocks camoplast 1 inch track and the best part is that it has a power inc silencer on it. I have been looking for another one for years for the other set of powerinc pipes I have. Now have 2 full sets of pipes. Also has v force reeds and a blue bar bag.i have never had a 600 srx so I am looking forward to fixing it up for my 12 year old son. Check out the actual mileage the gauge showed. Not true.it has 2000 miles

Nice find. Srx 600 are hard to find in good shape. Dont be surprised if your 12 year old passes you. They were a fast machine.

That 98 600 SRX you seen at my house (2 winters ago......I think) was part of some horse trading I did (came out $400 ahead and free sled) and to be honest wasn't really that interested because it was only a 600. WELL after putting a few people on it and never riding it very much my self I decided to mainly ride it this past winter......I was really surprised, had quite a bit of fun on it!

I always was told to stay along ways away from the srx 600s nothing but junk...but in the rite hands wood probally b ok

I had one, and the 700's just performed way better. I think Turk mentioned them having a "cold pipe" problem or something.

They are a solid sled with wicked potential. We had ours run 130.2 mph in improved stock form in a 1/4 mile radar run.
