My sled is a sxr600 and today I was checking my exhaust temps for tuning reasons and found my PTO clutch side exhaust is 40-50 degrees cooler then the middle/mag side. The sled is single pipe and the PTO clutch side spark plug looks leaner then the others so im confused. Let me know your views on this. BTW my cylinder and head temp is all Evan across.

I would start with a good carb cleaning 1st. might have a spec of crud in one of the jets.

If it was a main seal on the clutch side, I'd think that the temp would be up as well. Fire it up & start spraying carb cleaner. Listen for tone/rpm changes while soaking down the boots, seals, etc, etc.
Manifold gasket??

Thanks for the info guys! I went out and sprayed everything and it seemed fine so I don't think there is a leak and I just cleaned my carbs. I'm starting to think that the reeds are bad so ill tear it down today and see what it does.

Thanks for the link, I took the reeds out and they have power reeds on them I guess and I wouldn't say they were worn but they open very hard so I switched them with a used pair of v-force reeds I had and it runs night and day better now!
