I am buying a 1988 Yamaha Phazer. The previous has been running Yamalube with 10100 miles. I want to run Amsoil 2-stroke injector oil. Should I stay with Yamalube. Thanks.

If it made it that far with Yamalube stick with it, it's cheaper than amsoil too. I've always ran Yamalube in my sleds and had good luck with it.

I can get amsoil for under $6 a quart. I can not find Yamalube for under $8 a quart. Thanks

What Amsoil are you talking about? I buy in BULK and get it (Interceptor) for like $27-$28 per gallon. My buddy has an 01 SxR 700 he has always ran the supertech (wal-mart private label) that's like $10 a gallon......he has 8-10k on sled now and rides it like he stole it. Theres a TON of threads about oil, In the end its up to you as your the guy footing the re-pair bill and or doing the walking home.
