Okay I read a few post about washing the clutches in the dishwasher. It was okay but now my wife is MAD at me. 
It has nothing to do with the clutches being in the dishwasher it's what it did to the clutch finish. Now they have no shine to them at all. Now I have to spend countless hours polishing them to get the shine back
. Great idea but now I have more work ahead of me.... Lesson learned cleaner only for me from now on.

Maybe you should have used some Finishe' or Jet Dry..........For that streak/spot free shine?.........Don't know never tried it......Probably worth picking up a cheap drill mounted buff/polish ball and save your self some elbow wear and tear.
Yeah just stopped tonight and picked one up.
