I have a 98 srx 600 that was built 9/97. Was wondering why my hood decals are different than other sleds i have seen. Mine does not have 600 or power valve decals up by the windshield. Thanks

ALL the 98s were built 9/97 as far as I know. 99s in 9/98, 00 in 9/99 etc. How about a pic showing more of the sled? Chances are they swapped hoods around and went with a custom sticker from a local shop rather than ordering factory ones.

I have a '98 700 SRX and from what I can see the SRX decal itself is different from what should've come on that sled, assuming that the 6 and 700's had the same decal package with the exception being the 600 or 700 numbers.I would hazard a guess that somewhere along the line a previous owner has modified or changed the decals on your sled. The strobe part looks right,it just has the 600 stuck in there and it shouldn't.As well the decal that reads "PowerValve 600" right along the top of the cab has been removed.

X2, I have had several 98 600s and several 99-01 700's. The SRX part should look just like your 700.

Has anyone ever installed an Aftermarket decal kit? I found a site, Senge Graphics, and they make a kit for the SRX. Has anyone ever seen these before? I'm just looking for something other than the plain blue look.

I have had lots of decals made up for lots of other stuff. Just about any print shop can make them. I used to run demo derby cars (usually 3-4 demos per year and rarely re-used a car) and had a local print shop sponsor. They made all the decals for all the other sponsors, having decals versus the rattle can advertising made a real big difference in how much sponsors were willing to cough up for sponsorship. Most of its pretty cheap, getting into the reflective decals gets a little more costly.
