Radius Rods

I need a radius rod for my 2001 Venture. The original part, 8CR-2384E-A0-P0, is discontinued. Which other radius rods are the same, other than color?

I'm pretty sure a rod from any long travel sled should work, viper, sxr, xt, xtc, etc.

Be careful using viper rods, they use a different bulkhead than the 2001 venture. I think the rods are shorter on a Viper.

Ordered one from a Mountain Max.

I could be wrong but I think the mountain max had a narrower front end, shorter rods.

Hope not. I used that one because I thought a Venture is pretty much a mountain max with a touring seat, electric start/reverse.

I just looked in my manual it it says....venture width is 47.2" and mountain max width is 43.8"

x2 on the moutain max being narrower. they where done that way so that it was easyer to side hill the sled.

could always fab one up using hein joints like the cb performance kit uses on theirs.

A rod from a long travel vmax will work.
