SRX cages in SX5R

I put some SRX/Viper reed cages in my son-in-laws SX500R last year. Would these have approximent equivalent of dropping 1/2 a jet size? Seeing how there is more air entering into the combustion chamber and making it somewhat leaner.

I wouldnt know of any way to measure that other then a flowbench of some kind and obviously not in the cards to do, so, youd need to ride it and check the sparkplugs and piston tops and adjust from there with the engine guiding you which way to go.

I put viper cages in my 98 600xt and never noticed a difference in plugs.

I don't think there'll be much if any visual change. Did notice better pull WOT.
